The rare spectacle of the solar eclipse on Wednesday evening led to an unusual intervention for emergency services in Junglinster, where two people climbed the RTL antennas. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), the individuals descended on their own, and no one was injured during the incident.

At 9.13pm, a cyclist was injured in a collision on the RN16 between Scheuerberg and Remich. Emergency responders from Remich arrived at the scene to assist. Around 20 minutes later, a separate accident took place on the A4 motorway between Lallange and Foetz, where a motorist was involved in a crash, while rescue teams from Esch-sur-Alzette and Schifflange were deployed, no injuries were reported.
