On Thursday evening, police received reports that a man had attempted to steal a mobile phone from a hospital room in one of the capital's hospital centres. He was taken into custody by a police patrol and brought before a judge on Friday morning, by order of the public prosecutor's office.

In Capellen, a police patrol noticed a man leaving a shop with a full bag, as he turned around as soon as he spotted the police and returned inside the shop. The shop alarm went off while the officers were stationed outside, and they stopped the man when he exited the store for the car park. When they searched his bag, they found he had failed to pay for numerous bottles of alcohol. These were returned to the shop and the man was arrested.
