On 22 June and National Day, the City Sounds music festival will take place across Luxembourg City.
However, in light of the heatwave announced over the coming days, the municipal council has decided to offer visitors free water.
The water will be available in cups, which can be obtained in return for a deposit, or visitors can get their own bottles refilled. Each person is permitted to bring a 0.5 litre reusable bottle to the concert sites.
The city will also install water fountains at 60 locations where visitors can make use of the free water. Many of the water fountains are equipped for dogs as well. Further details can be found here.
