On Thursday afternoon, the Hazardous Environment Reconnaissance and Intervention Group (GRIMP) carried out an operation in Kirchberg.

Three young falcons were rescued after becoming trapped behind a metal grille on the 18th floor of the European Parliament building, according to a Facebook post by the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).

An emergency call was received during the afternoon reporting the incident. The birds were then handed over to the Luxembourg Animal Rescue Group (GSAN) before being taken to a wildlife rescue centre.
