Bridel and BonnevoieTwo burglaries on New Year's Eve

According to the police, a detached house on Rue Mathias Perrang in Bridel was broken into between 4.30 pm on Thursday and 4 pm on Friday. The suspects presumably used a ladder to reach a first floor window, break it and enter the house.

Another detached house on Rue Pierre Krier in Bonnevoie was burgled into in the same time frame. This time, the thieves operated between 8.30 pm and 9.30 am the next morning using the back door of the building.
In response to this, the police has issued advice to prevent a burglary:

• Make sure that all doors and windows are locked;
• Keep lights on in the home;
• Do not leave any keys in locks;
• Inform a relative or neighbour in the event of a long absence.
