Two car fires mobilised emergency services in Beaufort and Bertrange in addition to three separate road accidents resulted in injuries in Ettelbruck, Wintger and Bech-Kleinmacher.

Shortly after midday, emergency services were alerted to a vehicle fire in an underground car park in Beaufort. According to 112, six fire stations were mobilised, including units from Luxembourg City. An ambulance and the operational technological support group were also deployed.

One person sustained injuries, though authorities have not provided further details nor confirmed whether the person injured was a resident or a firefighter.

At around 12.30pm, a second car caught fire at a petrol station in Bertrange. Firefighters from Bertrange, Mamer and Luxembourg responded to the incident. An ambulance was dispatched as a precaution, but no injuries were reported.

At around 2.31pm, two cars collided on Rue de Bastogne in Ettelbruck, leaving one person injured. Rescue teams from the Nordstad emergency centre responded to the scene.

A second collision occurred at around 3.19pm on the CR309 near Doncols. One person sustained injuries and was treated by emergency services from Wintger, Winseler and Wiltz.

At around 4.12pm, another person was injured after a car crashed into a lamppost on Rue du Scheuerberg in Bech-Kleinmacher. Firefighters from Schengen and an ambulance service from Remich attended the incident.
