Emergency crews responded to two separate road accidents on Tuesday afternoon, one of which left two people injured.

Two people were injured in a pair of traffic accidents that occurred on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).

The first incident took place shortly after 3pm on Avenue des Alliés in Ettelbruck, where two cars collided. No injuries were reported at that scene. Rescue workers from the Nordstad intervention centre responded to the call.

Less than an hour later, shortly before 4pm, a second collision between two vehicles occurred on the CR119 between Stafelter and Eisenborn. Two people sustained injuries in the crash. The Emergency Medical Assistance Team (SAMU) was despatched, along with paramedics from Lintgen, Niederanven, Junglinster, and Luxembourg City.
