At 3.50am on Tuesday morning police were made aware of a motorist travelling on Route d'Arlon between Mamer and Capellen. When stopped for a breathalyser test, the man was found to be over the limit. In addition to receiving a fine for drink driving, police also issued a fine for breaking curfew and confiscated the man's licence.
On Sunday night, a visibly intoxicated driver was stopped by police on Rue Nicolas Ries in Luxembourg City. Police performed a check and discovered the man had broken a driving ban as well. Police issued a fine and confiscated the man's car following the public prosecutor's orders.
