Shortly before 10pm, a mugger stole a gold necklace from a pedestrian on Route de Thionville, before escaping in the direction of Rue Dernier Sol.

The perpetrator was said to be a slim man around 1.70 metres tall, with stubble, wearing blue jogging bottoms, a t-shirt and a cap.

Elsewhere, a man was walking down Grand Rue around 11.30pm when a young woman approached him to distract him. The victim felt a tug at his neck and realised his necklace had gone. The woman and her two companions ran off towards Clausen.
