During a routine check at the central station, police officers noticed two individuals involved in a drug deal. Both attempted to flee via Avenue de la Gare, but were stopped by officers.
The client was in possession of a ball of cocaine, while the dealer had two cellphones, cash and several balls of cocaine. The dealer was arrested and will have to face court proceedings.
In a separate incident in Esch, a drunk man was taken to the station for not being able to present a valid form of identification. Officers found a small bag of cannabis on his person. The man was arrested.
