Upon arriving at the bar around 11 pm, police officers noticed several infringements of the new Covid-19 regulations. When they wanted to enter the building, one guest tried blocking the entry and shoving away one of the officers.
The man in question was involved in a physical altercation with several other guests soon after. The officers at the scene intervened straight away, but due to the large number of people involved, they had to call for back-up and even make use of pepper spray.
The situation almost took a turn when one of the guests drew a knife and threatened the officers. He was subdued and taken into custody, same as the man who had initially started the turmoil.
