The fire broke out on the second floor of a building located at the corner of Rangwee and rue 9 mai 1944 in Howald shortly before 9am on Tuesday. No less than four fire trucks from the Hesperange and Luxembourg City emergency services were despatched to the scene.
Two people were injured and taken to hospital, according to the CGDIS' morning report. The police closed off the street during the intervention.
