On Wednesday afternoon, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) had to respond to a fire in Esch-sur-Alzette. Two people had to be rescued.
Firefighters were able to bring two people to safety after flames broke out on the fifth floor of a residential building in Esch-sur-Alzette.
According to the CGDIS, the teams on site had to use a turntable ladder to rescue one of the two victims. The fire is “under control”, according to the fire brigade.
