Police escorted two individuals to a station for an identity check after they failed to provide identification during a routine customs control in central Luxembourg on Wednesday.

Shortly before 7pm on Wednesday, police activity increased at the intersection of Rue de l’Eau and Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes in Luxembourg City.

Customs officers were conducting a routine check when they noticed two individuals who were unable to provide identification. Police were subsequently alerted.

The two individuals were escorted to a police station for an identity check.
