Two police officers noticed a man acting suspiciously on Rue Fort Neipperg in Luxembourg City at 5.30am on Sunday. The officers went over to the man to ask him a few cursory questions, at which point the man began to insult the officers.

The police officers requested that the man, who was accompanied by a woman, provide proof of his identity. The man appeared to be drunk and refused to show his ID to the officers, continuing to insult the officers. They consequently decided to take him to the police station. The man began violently to resist the police officers and his companion even attempted to prevent the officers from putting handcuffs on the drunk man.

The police officers took both individuals to the police station, where the individuals continued to threaten, insult, and intimidate the officers. Both were arrested for rebelling against the police officers, who were also injured in the interaction.
