François Moyse visited with US Ambassador Evans yesterday to talk about the efforts of Holocaust restitution.
Moyse is a lawyer and founder of the Moyse-Bleser law firm. He is one of a few lawyers in Luxembourg that practices before the Court of Strassbourg in Human Rights and the Court of Luxembourg in Law of the European Union.
The two men previously met to discuss Holocaust restitution with the World Jewish Restitution Organization (WJRO)and the Jewish Community of Luxembourg.
The Holocaust refers to the World War II genocide of European Jews from 1941-1945 in which around six million Jews were murdered. Luxembourg is currently the last European country to offer restitution.
