One person was injured in an accident shortly after 1.30pm on Monday,as two cars had collided on route d'Arlon in Strassen.
Another crash involving a motorcycle and a car took place around 11pm between Mersch and Schoenfels. One person sustained injuries. Earlier the same day, there had already been a collision between a car and a motorbike between Kirchberg and Cents tunnel, also leaving one person injured.
Monday evening around 5.40pm, two cyclists fell on Avenue John F. Kennedy in Kirchberg. Both of them were injured.
Firefighters also had to intervene to extinguish minor fires in Scheiden and in Niederkorn. Nobody was injured.
