Consumers are being advised to check their freezers after a vegan cordon bleu product sold across Luxembourg was recalled over potential plastic contamination.

A vegan cordon bleu produced by Rügenwalder Mühle has been recalled over potential contamination with plastic foreign bodies.

The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) issued the recall on Tuesday, noting that the product was sold at numerous locations across the country.

The recall applies to items with best-before dates between 15 and 25 June inclusive. Further details are available on the lu-alert website.
