A violent theft was reported on Monday evening on Rue du Fort Neipperg. According to initial findings, an unknown man approached the victim, restrained them and tripped them, causing them to lose their balance. He then took the victim's wallet from their back pocket and fled towards Avenue de la Liberté. The wallet contained personal documents, several bank cards, and cash.

Later that evening, police detained several suspects in two separate shoplifting incidents.

At around 7pm, security staff at a shop on Rue Alphonse Weicker in Kirchberg apprehended two men after they stole various items. Police did not say what was taken.

At about 10pm, a patrol was alerted to a theft on Route de Luxembourg in Bereldange. A man was reported to have stolen several barbecues from a petrol station and a nearby shop. Officers identified a suspect and found him nearby shortly afterwards. A search turned up several of the stolen items, which were seized.
