Roadworks, which will start at 9pm on Friday, will last the entire weekend on the A1 and N1. If everything goes well they will be completed by 5am on Monday 15 July.

Two roadblocks will be put into place:

  • At the exit of the Senningerberg interchange, coming from the Croix de Gasperich on the A1 in direction of Senningerberg (N1);
  • At the exit of the Senningerberg interchange, coming from Trier on the A1 in direction of Findel airport (N1).

Traffic coming from the Croix de Gasperich will be diverted to the roundabout near Findel airport to allow drivers to get back to the Senningerberg interchange in direction of Senningerberg.

Traffic coming from Trier will be deviated through the Grünelwald junction-A7-Waldhof interchange in direction of the Senningerberg interchange.

Watch out: only one lane of the N1 will be available at the Senningerberg interchange. Traffic will be regulated by traffic lights which might cause congestion over the weekend.

It would be wise to anticipate at least half an hour more on your journey time if you need to get to the airport this weekend.
