The administrative court ruled that, in case of the concession contract with RTL Group, MP Sven Clement is entitled to read it.
CSV MP Laurent Mosar is now demanding that parliamentary commissions should be able to see and request a full list of all provisional agreements the government has reached with third parties.
Furthermore, the MP requested that parliament should be given access to contracts relating to the vaccine acquisition. Mosar is also asking Bettel to provide him with all conventions and compromises that were made during the controversial Fage dossier. Greek investors stepped back from a multi-million euro project that would have built a dairy factory between Bettembourg and Dudelange.
Bettel conceded that the government will apply the court ruling but said that parliament should draw up specific guidelines how the ruling should be implemented first before he will deliver on Mosar’s requests.
An internal parliamentary meeting is scheduled for Friday to work out such guidelines.
