At around 6pm on Thursday evening, police received reports of a woman in Redange-sur-Attert running into the road and stopping passing cars. According to police, she also hit the vehicles and spat at them.
The woman was reportedly uncooperative when officers arrived at the scene. She was also found to be under the influence of alcohol.
As she posed a danger to herself and others, officers decided to take her into police custody after she had undergone a medical check.
As she continued to behave aggressively, several police officers were injured in the process. She was arrested and was due to appear before an investigating judge on Friday morning.
