A 76 year old woman has died after a fire broke out in her bedroom on the ground floor.
Ambulances from Pétange and Esch-sur-Alzette were called to the incident, as well as fire fighters from Pétange, Käerjeng, Differdange and Dudelange, who were able to prevent the fire from spreading.
An investigation and autopsy have been launched as a result of the incident. No one else suffered injuries in the fire, which caused major damage to the terraced house.
