The serious work accident took place on the construction site on Rue Mercier. According to police, the worker fell from scaffolding at around 10.30 am. The circumstances of the fall remain to be determined.
The man was seriously injured and treated by first responders before being taken to hospital. The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) was dispatched to the scene alongside a police patrol. A fine was handed out.
