Rue du Vieux Marché was closed off for a period of time due to the accident, but has now been opened up for traffic again.
The lift chair fell on the terrace of a private residence. The worker has been taken to hospital. It is not currently known how serious their injuries are.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) has been informed of the incident.
