A 29-year-old man from the French border area was hit by a steel beam. He had been working in a hall during demolition work. First responders and further rescue crews were at the scene, but shortly after arriving in hospital the man succumbed to his injuries.
The Public Prosecutor's Office has sent investigators to the scene. The Inspection du Travail et des Mines (ITM) was also informed and present on site.
