SalzbachWorld War II mortar shell neutralised in industrial zone
The Grand Ducal police announced that a mortar shell left over from the Second World War was discovered in an industrial park near Salzbach, Wiltz, on Thursday.

The explosive was dealt with by a bomb disposal unit from the Luxembourg Army's demining service (SEDAL) on the spot.
As a result, a number of roads in the area were closed at around 12.30pm to allow the operation to take place.
