The summer heatwave has returned, and with it come a series of weather alerts as temperatures are predicted to rise up to a maximum of 37°C.
Meteolux issued a yellow weather alert across the whole of Luxembourg for Thursday, from 10am to 9pm. Temperatures are expected to peak at 32°C.
By Friday, the alert will be upgraded to orange from 10am to 8pm, with highs of 34°C forecast through the day.
And this is just the beginning, as the weekend will see continued heat warnings as temperatures rise.
The heatwave is predicted to peak on Tuesday of next week with highs of 37°C.
Meteolux has issued advice for coping with the heat, such as protecting one's head, staying hydrated and limiting physical activities.
