Meteolux predicts between 4 and 8 cm of new snow in the north of the country, and between 1 and 3 cm in the south. Other weather agencies have made similar predictions, envisioning up to 10 cm of new snow above 400 metres of altitude.

Reports from Oesling note that parts of the region already experienced up to 15 cm of snowfall this morning.

Earlier this morning, a lorry blocked the road between Schweich and Kreuzerbuch, causing slight delays in traffic.

Over the course of the afternoon, both snow and rain will continue to fall across the Grand Duchy. Temperatures may range between 0 and 3°C. The night is however expected to remain mostly dry.
