Youth for Climate is a young organisation active in Luxembourg that organises climate strikes, the aim being to raise awareness about climate change. But they also cover topics such as fossil fuels, the global decline in biodiversity and natural disasters provoked by climate change.
For their critical way of thinking, the organisation was awarded the "Hëllef fir d'Natur" prize, which comes with a €5,000 financial package. The pandemic pulled the handbrake on their campaign, but another strike is scheduled for 19 March, on Global Climate Strike Day.
