A child was struck by a car on Rue de Mondercange in Esch-sur-Alzette at around 7pm on Friday evening. Emergency medical teams from the Minett region attended the scene to treat the injured child. No details on the extent of the injuries have been provided at this time.
Elsewhere, emergency services responded to several small fires in Luxembourg City, including a grill fire on Rue Jean-Pierre Biermann and a bin that caught fire on Place de Metz.
A more significant incident occurred in Hosingen-Deiffelt, where a fire broke out in a room. Firefighters from Hosingen, Clervaux, Weiler, and Putscheid were dispatched to the scene to bring the fire under control.
