On 2 March at 16:00, former touring guitarist Bob Sneider will take the stage at Forum Geesseknäppchen, along with his trio and vibraphonist Chien-Chien Lu.

In less than a week, former touring guitarist Bob Sneider will deliver what promises to be an unforgettable jazz performance.

He will be joined by his trio — bassist Marc Demuth and drummer Pit Dahm — with special guest Chien-Chien Lu, whose presence on vibraphone and percussion will add an extra layer of energy to the evening.

The guitarist will be giving a workshop the night before his performance at Centre des Sociétés, 1 March from 4 to 6 pm, for which you can get the tickets here.

Bob Sneider, who won a Grammy with Chuck Mangione, has performed with many well-known musicians such as Nat Adderley, Joe Locke, Joey DeFrancesco, and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Pops throughout the Americas and Europe.

He is well known for his recordings such as Introducing Bob Sneider, Out of the Darkness, and his collaborations with many other musicians, as well as for his latest release entitled The Brockton Beat with The Sneider Brothers.

In addition to his performing career, he has been teaching at the Eastman School of Music for almost 30 years.

Chien Chien Lu is celebrated for classical precision with the spontaneity of jazz. After shifting her focus fully to jazz in 2015, she quickly rose to fame with appraise from DownBeat magazine and the Recording Academy for her dynamic artistry,

This concert is part of the Jazz Forum Luxembourg programme, which is a nonprofit organisation that organises concerts, jams sessions, and workshops dedicated to promoting the jazz scene and its musicians in Luxembourg.
