What could be better than the magic of a live melancholic rock performance on a gloomy winter day?
Editors, formed in Birmingham, are returning to Luxembourg on Monday, 15 February 2027, after their 2018 show saw such high demand that it sold out in less than 24 hours.
The concert is organised by den Atelier and will take place in Rockhal, starting at 7pm.
The band originally formed in 2002 after meeting while studying Music Technology at Staffordshire University. Soon after, they released their debut album The Back Room, which featured some of their most well-known tracks, including Munich and Blood.
Editors are best known for their dark, atmospheric take on indie rock, as they often blend brooding melodies with driving rhythms and emotionally charged lyrics. Their sound has much evolved from what it used to be two decades ago, but they’ve consistently kept that melancholic, cinematic edge.
They gained major attention with their debut album The Back Room (2005), featuring standout tracks like Munich and Blood. Follow-up albums such as An End Has a Start and In This Light and on This Evening cemented their reputation for crafting anthemic yet also introspective songs.
To this day, they have released 7 studio albums. They are currently working on a new album, and have already unveiled the single Call It In from the upcoming release, which is the first single they have released since 2022 and which will play on RTL Today Radio's New Noise show tonight, from 9-10pm.
Tom Smith, the band’s frontman, also played a solo show in Luxembourg on 12 March, which sold out within days and left fans eager for more.
Don't miss out to see this world-renowned band live!
The presale starts on Wednesday, 29 April at 11am, while the general on sale on Thursday, 30 April at 11am.
