Gregor Payet crossed the finish line in 26th place, 1 minute and 14 seconds behind Hauser. Bob Haller crossed the line in 27th place, with a deficit of 1 minute and 19 seconds.
Both Luxembourgers qualified for the A finals on Saturday.
