These petitions will have to collect a minimum of 4,500 signatures in order to be debated during a plenary session by the MPs.
One of the petitions, for example, calls for compulsory vaccination against Covid-19, while another proposes the legalisation of dashcams in cars in order to "feel safer on the roads".
One petitioner demands the introduction of a maximum price per square metre on the real estate market, while another calls for an end to the taxation of the 13th month or other benefits and bonuses granted to employees.
Several people also introduced ideas related to mobility, including the increase of the maximum speed limit in Luxembourg after midnight: 160km/h on motorways and 100km/h on national roads. Finally, police body cameras are again at the centre of debate with one petition demanding the introduction of bodycams, which the petitioner argues would increase the security of officers as well as citizens.
All of the petitions can be signed on the official website of the Chamber of Deputies.
