On Tuesday afternoon, officers conducting a wide-ranging drugs operation in the area noticed a man selling drugs to people outside the train station at 3.30pm.
Both the suspected dealer and a client were arrested and taken into custody, where they were searched. The dealer was found in possession of drugs, a large sum of cash and a mobile phone. His customer received a fine.
On Wednesday officers stopped a man selling drugs at the junction of Avenue de la Gare and rue de Bonnevoie at around 3.20pm. When searched, the man was found with six bags of marijuana on his person; however, a subsequent hospital scan ordered by the public prosecutor revealed he had a further 20 foreign bodies in his stomach, thought to be additional drugs.
Both suspected dealers will be brought before investigating magistrates.
