
When firefighters came to quench the flames, they found a man with life-threatening injuries inside the house.
The 53-year-old man who lived in the house, originally from Cape Verde, sadly died at the scene.
Around 40 firefighters from several fire departments came to the scene:

Police officers as well as criminal investigators (measuring and identification service) were at the scene and are currently carrying out an investigation on the orders of the prosecution.



One person was also injured in a car crash during the night from Sunday to Monday. Just after 4am, a car overturned on a stretch of road between Bettembourg and Krakelshaff.
