Despite the school holidays, traffic is highly disturbed this Wednesday morning. Several accidents occurred on high-vlume traffic axes.
Shortly before 6.30 am, an accident involving a car and a lorry occurred on the A4 motorway between the Esch junction and the Schifflange exit ramp. The left lane and the emergency hard shoulder lane are currently blocked. The long tailbacks even affect traffic on the A13.
Another collision took place on the A6 near between the Belgian border and Steinfort, making entry into the Grand Duchy a bit more difficult than it is usually the case. Tailbacks range back all the way to Weyler.
