The films in question are "Foreign Affairs" from 2015, which featured Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Asselborn, and the more recent release "An Zéro", which featured both Minister for the Environment Carole Dieschbourg and Minister for Energy Claude Turmes.

The adr states that it finds it "concerning" that government officials are so prominently featured in productions funded by tax payer money.

In its open letter, addressed to Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, the adr demands the intervention of the Ethics Commission.

The letter is signed by MP Fernand Kartheiser, the president of the adr's parliamentary group, and Jean Schoos, the party president.
