ADR New Year's receptionADR pleased with the election results in look back at 2018

On Friday evening the Alternative Democratic Reform party (ADR) held their annual ''Neijoerschpatt'' in Cents, to celebrate the new year.

Globally, the party's members were happy about the results and that they could gain one more seat in the parliament, but still criticised the Luxembourgish electoral system.

The party also criticised the "Bettel 2" coalition: the ADR claims that raising land tax and indirect taxes will only benefit public finances, rather than the population.
For the European elections, the ADR will focus on supporting the Euro, free trade, and free mobility within the Schengen-area, but also for tighter border control and a well-ordered immigration policy.

During this event the ADR also reacted to the accusation of right-winged populism.
