The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) has issued a recall alert and is urging consumers to stop eating the pear and vanilla dessert by Les délices du chaudron sold in 4 x 100g trays, following concerns over the possible presence of a metal fragment.
The recall affects products with best before dates of 30 September 2026 and 2 October 2026, which were distributed across several retail outlets in Luxembourg. While the potential presence of a metal fragment poses a health risk, no incidents have been reported so far.
Consumers who have purchased the affected product are asked to return it to the point of sale. A full refund will be provided, even without proof of purchase.
The Administration has confirmed that any updates to the recall, including the possible addition of further product references, will be published on the official food safety portal and through the LU-Alert channels. Consumers are encouraged to check these platforms regularly to stay informed about ongoing food alerts in Luxembourg.
