The police carried out alcohol checks on the N7 in Mersch, around the CR101 in Schoenfels, and on Boulevard de la Foire/Avenue de la Faïencerie, Rue du Stade/Route d'Arlon, and Route de Thionville/Rue de Neufchâteau in Luxembourg City between 9.15 pm and 2.00 am.
A total of 295 drivers had to undergo breathalyser tests, twelve of which came back positive.
Two licenses were confiscated on the spot.
