A vehicle driving from Buderscheid to Fond de Heiderscheid almost collided head-on with a white delivery van, most likely after the latter had overtaken a lorry.
The person behind the wheel of the car was forced to brake abruptly, which the driver behind them unfortunately noticed too late and thus crashed into the back of their car.
This caused the latter to lose control over their vehicle, ultimately ending up in the oncoming traffic and crashing into two other cars. According to the police, the delivery van just kept on driving.
One person was slightly injured but was able to leave the hospital after a relatively short amount of time.
The police have issued a call for witnesses on Tuesday afternoon. In particular, police are looking for the driver of the delivery van and the driver of the lorry.
