A construction worker is reported to have fallen down a chute at around 9.20am on Friday morning, for as yet unexplained reasons. Despite emergency intervention by paramedics, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines and forensics teams have since inspected the site of the accident.
