Ethics committee conclusionCorinne Cahen cleared of conflict of interest accusation

RTL Today
Although the Minister of Family Affairs was considered not to have formally violated the code of conduct for government members, the ethics committee said her email to the capital's Business Association was not right.

The ethics committee left Cahen with a warning to avoid such involvement in future, but cleared her of any conflict of interest. In particular they said that she should not have sent the email from her government email address.

The committee encouraged Prime Minister Xavier Bettel to ensure Cahen acts with more caution in future.
