During the week from 15 to 21 August, 751 people tested positive for Covid-19. Their average age was 44.1 years.
The number of tests decreased from 5,089 to 4,709 compared to the previous week.
No person died as a consequence of an infection.
The number of hospital patients decreased from twelve to nine last week. One person was being treated in an intensive care unit. The average age of hospital patients was 59 years.
By 21 August, there were 1,972 active coronavirus infections in Luxembourg, down from 2,569 cases reported on 14 August. The number of recovered patients increased from 281,451 to 282,790.
