After a heated discussion, the couple came to blows around 2am on Friday morning, in their home in Oberkorn.
According to the police report, both the woman and the man suffered knife wounds, with the man taken to hospital with a serious, yet non-life-threatening injury. The woman was left with superficial wounds.
The public prosecutor's office ordered the woman's arrest and transfer to Schrassig prison as part of the domestic violence procedure. She will also appear before an investigating judge on Friday afternoon.
