Following a reduction in diesel prices announced on Monday and a petrol decrease on Tuesday, diesel is once again seeing a price cut – this time by 6.2 cents per litre, effective Thursday, 18 June, at filling stations across Luxembourg.

The price of diesel fuel will fall to €1.623 per litre, according to the latest maximum price scale for petroleum products.

The decrease also applies to other diesel variants. Heating oil 10 ppm S is dropping by 6.2 cents to €1.055 per litre (for deliveries of at least 1,500 litres). Industrial and commercial diesel is also down by 6.2 cents, with the new rate set at €1.178 per litre. The same reduction applies to diesel for agricultural and horticultural use, which falls to €1.025 per litre.

Petrol prices, however, remain unchanged compared with the previous price scale. LPG fuel stays fixed at €0.693 per litre, while domestic bulk propane remains at €0.734 per litre.

Fuel prices are therefore continuing their downward trajectory in Luxembourg, with the latest decrease primarily affecting diesel and its associated products.
