Despite doing 71 km/h in a 50 zone, the driver did not stop when requested by police officers in Oetrange, instead fleeing down the cycle path on Rue de Bous. This unusual act resulted in a jogger jumping out of the way of the car, before police finally stopped the vehicle on a country road in Moutfort.
It transpired that the car was not registered and was being driven without insurance. The vehicle was promptly seized and the driver cautioned.
