Around 11am, a driver tried to escape the checks and the customs agents took up the pursuit of the car. They were able to stop it a bit further down.
The police had been alerted and arrested the two people in the car. 300 grams of marijuana were seized immediately, and further searches found more drugs as well as two weapons.
The two suspects will be presented to a judge on Wednesday morning.
